With Mother’s Day being this weekend, I was reminded of the post I wrote two years ago about things my mom taught me. She truly is one of my best friends, and also a huge role model to me. The people ahead of us in line were acting so busy when they checked out…looking at their phones and basically ignoring the cashier except to act like they were taking too long to scan the items. We were busy, too, but when my mom got up to the front, she smiled at the cashier and struck up a conversation with her. You could tell how much it meant to the cashier that my mom treated her so kindly and appreciated her help.
That story has really inspired me to look for ways to make other people smile!

Here are some tips from Palm Beach Tan about getting the perfect sunless tan:
- The day before your session, shower, shave, and exfoliate your skin.
- Wear loose-fitting clothes to your session and avoid wearing perfume, moisturizer, or makeup.
- After your session, wait at least 4 hours before bathing, swimming, sweating heavily, etc.
- Moisturize daily, and your tan should last between 3-7 days.
