Mistico Hanging Bridges Park
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to walk above a jungle canopy, then Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park may be the place for you. Located just outside of the town of La Fortuna, this park has 6 incredible hanging bridges that provide an amazing view of the dense, Costa Rican rainforest. It was a really cool experience feeling the bridges swaying underneath as we walked across. The views from the center of the bridges were really awesome! The two mile trail loop is extremely well-kept and makes for an easy hike.
Our highlight was definitely seeing the four monkeys at the end of the last hanging bridge! I was recording myself saying that we didn’t see any monkeys, when I spotted one sitting in the tree. The tour doesn’t highlight seeing monkeys, but you never know what wildlife you might see when in Costa Rica!
