Baldi Hot Springs (La Fortuna)
A must-do experience while in La Fortuna is to visit a hot spring. From roadside river beds to luxury spa-like resorts, there are endless options of hot springs in La Fortuna. The hotel we were staying at – Arenal Manoa Hotel – booked us a day at Baldi Hot Springs. Em and I have been to hot springs before, but we had no idea just how big and how many pools Baldi Hot Springs would have. From front to back, there were more than 25 hot springs!Â
Each hot spring varies in temperature and has its own unique layout. Even though the resort is huge, it did an amazing job of designing each pool so it feels secluded from the rest of the resort. Probably my favorite part of the day at the hot spring was in the kids section riding down a huge spiral slide! It was a great balance of thrilling mixed with relaxation. We ended our day at the hot springs by eating at the hot spring’s buffet. It was a great, relaxing day at Baldi Hot Springs!
