Hotel San Bada (Manuel Antonio)
Hotel San Bada is the closest you can get to sleeping inside Manuel Antonio National Park without actually sleeping inside. It’s the last building before the entrance to the park! It was so nice in the morning being able to wake up and literally walk a few steps and be in the park. No need for catching a taxi or worrying about directions!Â
From our hotel room balcony, we could see the beach and national park’s jungle. In the morning, we could hear the howler monkeys echoing through the jungle! The hotel’s staff was very welcoming. The decor and architecture of the hotel does a great job of matching it’s Costa Rican jungle atmosphere. San Bada even has a short tunnel walk entrance through the jungle that leads directly to the beach. The hotel’s breakfast was full of fresh fruit and amazing gallo pinto, a typical Costa Rican breakfast.Â
If you have ever wanted to know what it’s like to sleep in Costan Rican jungle surrounded by monkeys and sloths without having to actually brave the outdoors, definitely check out Hotel San Bada at the entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park!
